Job listing for chessplayer for Faneuil Hall

 

 

Faneuil Hall Marketplace is seeking a chess enthusiast to manage weekly blitz tournaments outdoors at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. 

 

Hours would be from 5pm - 7;30pm on Thursdays. 

 

Individual would be responsible for setting up and breaking down equipment; explaining rules to players and passers by; and managing the event. 

 

Event would run from 5:30pm - 7:00pm through August (or as long as there is adequate daylight).

Weekend hours or special events may be added over the course of the summer.

The weekly event, and therefore the shift, will be canceled in case of rain.

Compensation is $12/hour.
